Almost finished my first platoon




I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have great respect for all those FOW players who have many thousands points armies. I have no idea where they find the time to paint that much.

So the webbing and the helmets are done. All that is left are the gun stocks and final touch ups.

Last night I was able to take some pictures. Nothing fancy but I'm not an artist. I'm just a hobbyist trying to do something different.

Hello!

I ran accross the link to your blog in the FoW Ontario Yahoo group.

You might try an ink wash on the faces and such. I use future floor polish or an acrylic diluting agent (like airbrush medium)to dilute the ink instead of water. I find it gives superior results to water.

What is lyx?

Lynx is a "What you see is what you mean" Latex editor. Sort of like a poor man Desktop Publishing application.
